Terms of obtaining the service

Eligibility for legal aid is subject to two conditions:

  • Examination of the judicial issues that deserve to be granted legal assistance. A section of the examples is detailed in the service description paragraph.
  • Economic eligibility check: Legal aid is granted only to those who are economically eligible, details are given below.
Complete the application review
  • After submitting the application and opening a file, the applicant will be invited to meet with a lawyer in the office of the district where the application was submitted. In cases where the applicant lives at a great distance from the public reception office, the lawyer can be met at the social welfare offices of the local authorities close to their place of residence.
  • After meeting the lawyer, and after submitting the required documents, the district will decide whether or not to grant legal aid. And by what measures will economic aid be granted?
  • If the Major General certifies that the applicant meets all the conditions for obtaining legal aid, a letter of appointment will be issued for an external lawyer, who is appointed through legal aid, and they own private law firms next to the applicant’s place of residence. In return, the applicant receives a message by phone (SMS) informing him of the name of the authorized attorney, his address, and ways to contact him, in order to follow up the case or to set an interview with him.
  • If the decision is not to provide legal aid (because one of the conditions is not met), you will receive an explanatory letter in the mail with the reasons for the refusal.

Please pay attention:
Even if the Major General admits that there is a success rate for the case, there is no guarantee that the case will be won, because only the court decides the final ruling on the case.

Also, please note that in the event that the court imposed on you to pay expenses, the legal aid does not pay these expenses, and if you do not pay these expenses, the second party may take collection measures against you.
